She was born on the 1 st of March 1980 in Moscow to the parents of director of the company that manufactures fur Gregory T. and a Russian economist Tatyana Semenovich. In childhood she spent six months before being diagnosed with arthritis rheumatoid. His career in skating with Denis Samokhin that made him popular. The two teams competed at the Junior World Championships, where they placed 8th and 7th respectively in 1993.
