Mila Kunis
American
actress born on August 14, 1983. Kunis began her role as Jackie Burkhart on the
Fox television show That's a Show (1998-2006) at the age of 14 years old. Kunis
has voiced Meg Griffin for Fox's animated show Family Guy since 1999. Kunis was
the first to be featured in a film as Rachel in Forgetting Sarah Marshall in
2008. The film earned her further praise and awards for her role in the
psychological thriller Black Swan (2010), where she won the Marcello
Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor or Actress, and nominations for the SAG
Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress. Her other films
of note include action movies Max Payne (2008) and The Book of Eli (2010) The
romantic comedy Friends with Benefits (2011) and the fantasy film Oz the Great
and Powerful (2013) as the Wicked Witch of the West and the comedies Ted
(2012), Bad Moms (2016) and its sequel, A Bad Moms Christmas (2017). Milena
Markovna Kunis was born to a Ukrainian Jewish family on August 14, 1983, in
Chernivtsi the city of the Ukrainian SSR of the Soviet Union (now Ukraine).Her
mother, Elvira, is a Physics teacher who manages the pharmacy. Her father, Mark
Kunis, is mechanical engineer, who is a taxi driver. Kunis is the elder sibling
of Michael. Her parents were Holocaust survivors. Her mother tongue as well as
the common language within her family is Russian.
