Markie Post
Markie Post grew-up in Walnut Creek. She started her professional career as a TV and film producer, notably "The New Card Sharks", (1978) as well as "Card Sharks," (1986). She was later able to create projects like Double Dare (1976), and has been featured on many television shows such as E! True Hollywood Story (1996), Electra Woman (2001), and Dyna Girl (2001). One of her most memorable TV role was "Christine Sullivan" on Night Court (1984). From 1984 until 1992, she was featured in 156 episodes. Daughter of Marylee (Armstrong) Post, poet, and noted nuclear physical scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918 - April 7 in 2015). Two daughters, Katie Ross (born June 26, 1987) and Daisy Ross (born on March 30 the 30th of March, 1990) were born during her second wedding to Michael A. Ross. was born in Palo Alto, California, and grew up in Walnut Creek, California. She was an athlete at Las Lomas High School, Walnut Creek, California. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis & Clark College, Portland Oregon. She was a trick roper on The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). Her ashes were returned home to Michael A. Ross, her husband. She was a lifetime Democrat. Markie Post, who was just three months away from her 71st birth date on November 4 2021, died on the 7th of August. She was 27 days from Charles Robinson, Night Court (1984) which was her co-star , who died on July 11 2021. Though they were two completely distinct shows, Night Court (1984), where she was the lead was cancelled in 1992, with Christine Sullivan leaving for Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992), in which Post was a new character, Georgie Lahti (who, incidentally, had previously worked for a time in Washington DC before moving to the smaller city) was released in 1992.
