Gillian MacLaren Jacobs
Gillian MacLaren Jacobs born October 19, 1982 , is an American actress. She is most well-known for her performances as Britta Perry on the NBC comedy series Community (2009-2015), Mickey Dobbs on the Netflix romantic comedy series Love (2016-2018) and Atom Eve on the Amazon animated series Invincible (2021). Mimi Rose Howard played a regular role in the fourth season of the HBO comedy series Girls (2012 to 2017). Gillian MacLaren Jacobs, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on October 19 1982. Martina Magenau Jacobs is her mother and works at Carnegie Mellon University in alumni relations. Her father, William F. Jacobs Jr. was an investment banker. The death of her father occurred in the year 2013. Her mother raised her in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Her family owned the Erie Brewing Company (not the identical to the later brewery that bears that name). While growing up, Jacobs attended weekend acting classes at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. She was a regular performer at the Pittsburgh Public Theater. This led to her being cast in Titania's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mt. After graduation from Lebanon High School in 2000, she moved to New York City to study at the Juilliard School. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
