Annie Wersching Bio
Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actor who is known for her character Renee Walker in the American television series 24 as well as the voice and motion capture for the character of Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a graduate of Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. She competed in Irish dance during her youth as well as a member of the St. Louis Celtic Dancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which was her final degree in 1999. Wersching started her acting career by making guest appearances on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, before moving on to appearing as a guest in shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Supernatural and Cold Case. From March 2007 to November 2007 she had the recurring role as Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. Additionally, she performed in theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. In 2014, she was an episode regular on the initial season of the Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played the catcher role for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased her character via Twitter before she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7th the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching would be playing the part of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
