Mila Kunis Bio
Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi on the 14th of August 1983. When she was seven years old, Kunis immigrated to the United States with her parents, Mark and Elvira, as well as her older brother, Michael, and eventually settled in Los Angeles. It proved to be a rough start for the Kunis family that came to their new home with just $250 in their pockets. Kunis parents, who gave up their jobs to begin a new life, were determined for their children to have an improved standard of living. Mark, who was a mechanical engineer, found work as Uber's driver. Elvira had previously taught Physics in Ukraine and eventually owned a pharmacy. Kunis stated that she did not know the American culture upon first arriving in the United States. She is Jewish and her family moved to Los Angeles at the age of seven. Rosewood Elementary School was her first school. She started acting classes at the age of nine. After auditioning for commercials in a variety of different spots, she became a star in her first appearance on television on Days of Our Lives’ in 1994. Her first major role in 1998 as Jackie Burkhart on the hit sitcom 'That's the 70s Show'. After receiving rave reviews, she was asked to voice the character of Meg Griffin on animated sitcom 'Family Guy.
