Roselyn Milagros Rodriguez Roselyn Milagros Rodriguez, a Puerto Rican singer/songwriter and dancer was born on April 2, 1973. On TV, she is most famous for her appearances as Elena Delgado on the CBS police procedural Without a Trace (2005-09) and as Carmen Luna on the Lifetime comedy-drama Devious Maids (2013-16). Sanchez has also appeared on Rush Hour 2 (1901), Boat Trip (2002), The Game Plan (2006) as well as Act of Valor (2012). Sanchez was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and is the youngest of four siblings. She also has three older brothers. Sanchez completed her schooling at San Juan. When she was a kid, she showed an interest in acting and dancing and would perform performances for her family. Sanchez enrolled in the University of Puerto Rico, in which, like her father and brothers she studied marketing. After three years of study, she chose to leave the university. In 1991 she turned 18 Sanchez relocated to New York City, where she studied dance and acting, as well as singing. She returned to Puerto Rico, and in 1992, she made her movie debut, having landed in a small role as an island girl in the movie Captain Ron, which was partly filmed in Puerto Rico. Sanchez was an Puerto Rican dancer as well as co-host of Que Vacilon the variety program. At that time, in 1993, Sanchez won the Miss Puerto Rico Petite contest and, in 1994, she received the title of Miss American Petite, bringing her international recognition. Sanchez has been named in numerous annual lists of beautiful women, including Maxim Magazine's "Hot 100" in 2001 2002 and 2003; AskMen.com's "Top 99 Most Desirable Women" in 2005 and 2006; and FHM's "100 Sexiest Women" in 2005 and 2006.
