Kristin Lee Davis Bio

Kristin Lee was born in Boulder, Colorado on February 23 in 1965. Her parents divorced as an infant and she was the sole child. Her adoption was by her stepfather, psychology professor Keith Davis, after he married her mother, Dorothy an academic data analyst in 1968. In her early years, Kristin and her parents relocated to Columbia, South Carolina, where her stepfather was transferred to a university. She resided in South Carolina from the time she graduated from high school in 1983 to this day. After that, she relocated to New Jersey, where she went to Rutgers University. After graduation, she moved to New York and waited tables before creating a yoga studio along with a friend. Her show was a huge success when she was chosen to play Brooke Armstrong Campbell (1992) on Melrose Place in 1995. She left the show after one year when producers realized that viewers disliked her sexy character. Kristin was chosen in 1998 to play Charlotte York in Sex and the City (1998).
