Roselyn Sanchez Bio
2 April 1973, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Sanchez began dancing and playing the piano in her early childhood. Sanchez was the co-host of Que Vacilon (the top-rated TV show in Puerto Rico). She was a student at the University of Puerto Rico where she studied marketing and business with the goal of taking over her father's marketing business. However, in the meantime she was a winner of beauty contests, and later quit her studies in order to relocate to New York, USA where she presented her one-woman show, Out Here On My Own and gradually establishing her name. She was able to break into American television, gaining an appearance (Pilar Domingo) in the 1996/7 season of the soap that has been running for decades, As The World Turns. She also was a part of other series such as Fame L.A. (1997/8), Ryan Caulfield Year One (1999), Kojak (2006) as well as recurring parts in Without A Trace (2006) and Dragnet (2006). She also co-produced for films such as Held Up (1999), Rush Hour 2(2001), Boat Trip ((2002), Basic (2003) and Yellow (2006). She spends most of her time acting, however she also composed a stunning album of music that was released by BMGy Records on 2003. Sanchez has appeared in glamorous photographs in magazines and has attracted many attentions in addition to her acting.
