Amanda Tapping Biography
Amanda Tapping, an English-born Canadian actor. Her most well-known part is as Samantha Carter on the Canadian-American military sci-fi TV show Stargate SG-1. She also was the main character of the TV show science fiction fantasy Sanctuary. North Toronto Collegiate Institute was where she was able to excel in the field of Drama as well as Environmental Science. When she graduated in 1984, Tapping decided to concentrate on her studies in Drama. She went to the University of Windsor School of Dramatic Arts. She was also a part of various stage productions. Tapping was featured in a variety of commercials on television and also played a variety of roles in television and film productions like The Outer Limits. In the 1990s, she also co-founded the comedy group "Random Acts" together with Anne Marie Kerr and Katherine Jackson.
